These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") explain the agreement between you and the StayFocus maintainers ("StayFocus", "we", "us", or "our") when you access or use stayfocus.now (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a trial, buying a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who Can Use StayFocus

You must be at least 16 years old, or old enough to use online services in your location with any required consent from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for the activity that happens through it.

• Do not share access to your account with another person.

What StayFocus Provides

StayFocus is a productivity app for focus sessions, projects, reflections, brain dumps, small experiments, public accountability, and live map presence. It is designed to help you start focused work, protect attention, and learn from small experiments, not to guarantee a particular personal, business, health, or financial result.

We may improve, add, limit, or remove features as the project evolves. We try to keep the Service useful and stable, but we cannot promise that every feature will always remain available.

Free Trial, Paid Plans, and Lifetime Access

We may offer a free trial that gives you enough time to test the core features and decide whether StayFocus fits your workflow before paying. Paid features require an active subscription or another paid plan shown at checkout.

• Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.
• You can cancel a renewing plan from the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period.
• A "lifetime" plan means access to the paid features for as long as the StayFocus project and Service continue to operate. It is not a guarantee that the Service will exist forever. If the project or Service is discontinued for technical, financial, operational, or administrative reasons, lifetime access ends without additional compensation or ongoing payment obligations.
• Unless required by law or stated at checkout, payments already completed are not refundable.

Payments and Billing Provider

Payments, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and card handling are managed securely by Lemon Squeezy or its payment infrastructure. StayFocus does not see, store, or keep your full card number, bank details, or sensitive payment credentials. We only store the billing status and identifiers needed to activate, cancel, or verify your access.

Acceptable Use and Public Content

StayFocus includes public-facing spaces such as aliases, public profiles, public projects, updates, and live map presence. Because the Service is built for productivity, accountability, and a mixed audience, public content must stay respectful.

• Do not publish abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit, threatening, defamatory, illegal, or intentionally disruptive content.
• Do not use profanity, slurs, insults, or disrespectful language in public aliases, project names, updates, profile text, or other public fields.
• Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or publish private information about someone else.
• Do not attempt to scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass security, or access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
• We may hide content, remove content, restrict visibility, suspend access, or delete an account that violates these rules.

Public Profiles, Map Presence, and Shared Work

Public accountability is optional but central to StayFocus. Depending on your settings, your alias, profile, project information, public updates, current focus activity, and approximate map location may be visible to other users or the public.

• You can control map visibility through settings such as public, ghost, or invisible mode.
• Public content may be viewed, copied, shared, or indexed by third parties, including search engines.
• Do not put secrets, sensitive personal data, private client information, or confidential business information in public fields.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you create in StayFocus, including projects, focus intentions, notes, brain dump items, experiments, updates, and profile text. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, process, and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Service according to your privacy settings.

You are responsible for the content you create and for ensuring you have the right to publish or store it in the Service.

AI and Third-Party Integrations

StayFocus may connect to third-party services such as OAuth login providers, mapping services, payment processors, email providers, and AI assistants through features such as MCP. These integrations are provided to make workflows easier, but third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

When you connect an AI assistant or use an AI-powered workflow, you are responsible for choosing what data to send and for reviewing any output before relying on it. StayFocus is not responsible for decisions, mistakes, or content generated by third-party AI systems.

Intellectual Property

StayFocus, including its design, branding, interface, code, and product concepts, belongs to the StayFocus maintainers or their licensors. You may not copy, resell, modify, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Service unless we give written permission or the law allows it.

Availability, Changes, and Discontinuation

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim to keep it reliable, but outages, maintenance, bugs, data loss, or interruptions can happen. We may change, pause, limit, or discontinue part or all of the Service if needed for technical, financial, security, legal, or operational reasons.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, StayFocus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, productivity, or opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Suspension and Account Closure

You may stop using StayFocus at any time and request account deletion from your settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, create risk for other users, attempt fraud, or use the Service illegally.

Disputes and Applicable Principles

We want disputes to be handled fairly and practically. If a problem arises, contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally and in good faith. These Terms are intended to be interpreted under generally accepted principles for online services, electronic transactions, consumer fairness, and good-faith dispute resolution. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you in your location.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
